How can I initiate a withdrawal from my Ellevest account?

To initiate a withdrawal from your Ellevest account, click on Transfer Money at the top of your Ellevest dashboard and then select One-time transfer.

From the mobile app, you can choose Transfer and select One-time transfer.

First, choose the account or goal you want the funds to come from. Then tell us the account you want to transfer them into. To transfer them to your linked bank account, choose the External Account option. 

Neither Ellevest nor Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions, formerly Folio, charges any fees to withdraw funds from your investment goals. However, you may incur tax consequences as a result of withdrawing your funds from an Investment or IRA account.

Please note: Each bank or financial institution may have a slightly different ACH or withdrawal description. When reviewing your bank statements or account history, your Ellevest withdrawals will likely be shown as "GOLDMAN SACHS CU” (Formerly shown as, "FOLIO INVESTMENT").
