Will there be a blackout period?

Yes, in order to complete the transition to Betterment, there will be a blackout period from April 11, 2025 through April 20, 2025. On or around April 21, 2025, you’ll receive additional instructions from Betterment for claiming your account.

If your account remains at Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions, there will not be a blackout period. After April 10, 2025, you’ll be able to access your account via Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions. To do so: Log in to your Ellevest account, navigate to the user menu in the top-right corner, and select “Accounts.” You’ll find your username and password setting instructions under “Investment Account.”
