Recently, you received communications that Ellevest has entered into an agreement with Betterment, who is acquiring the qualifying investment accounts associated with our digital offering. As of April 10, 2025 Ellevest is no longer offering digital offering, including our automated investing services.
Like Ellevest, Betterment is a mission-oriented company, a fiduciary, and an SEC-registered investment adviser. Please know that this decision was made in the best interest of our clients and that we believe Betterment offers a platform that will continue to make it easy for you to invest in a way that works for your needs, goals, and values. If you did not opt out before April 10, 2025 and your account qualifies, your Ellevest account(s) has automatically transferred to Betterment. Your account will be transferred to Betterment in-kind, which means that all of your investment positions (except mutual funds) will be moved "as is", without selling them and buying them again at Betterment. You’ll be able to claim your Betterment account on or around April 21, 2025. You will receive an email from Betterment with instructions on how to access your account. If you have opted out or still have money with Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions, you can now work directly with them to access your funds. You can reach out to Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions directly at gs-custodysolutions@gs.com or (844) 413-1820 for assistance.
