What are installment payments?
Installment payments allow Ellevest clients to split the cost of financial planning packages into three equal, consecutive monthly payments, without incurring interest or fees. This option is available for package purchases only (not single sessions) and can be selected under the price on each package’s webpage.
What purchases qualify for installment payments?
Ellevest clients can pay for financial planning packages (like our Comprehensive Planning + Unlimited Support and Planning for More Package) using installment payments.
Single sessions, like our Homebuying Strategy Session or Retirement Planning Session, cannot be paid for using installment payments.
Am I eligible to use installment payments?
Clients who pay a monthly or annual flat fee to use Ellevest’s automated investing services are eligible to use installment payments for financial planning packages.
If you’re a legacy client who pays basis points (also known as bps), or if you’re not an Ellevest client at all, you’ll need to upgrade or sign up to gain access to installment payments.
Is there any interest or fee associated with using installment payments?
Nope! The installment payment amounts are simply the package price divided by three – we don’t charge any interest or apply any fees.
Can I use the same payment method for installment payments as what I use for my monthly or annual Ellevest fee?
Yes — however, you’ll need to re-enter your payment details for security reasons.
How will I know when my installment payment is due?
We’ll send a reminder to the email address associated with your Ellevest account seven days before each upcoming payment.
