Ellevest membership
Ellevest offers three different membership plans, starting at $1 a month, so you can choose the one that makes the most sense for you. We designed our plans’ pricing to be straightforward and easy to understand (and to make it possible for them to pay for themselves, no matter which one you choose).
You can switch plans anytime, and you can choose whether you want to pay monthly or pay annually and save.
- Ellevest Essential costs $1 a month or $12 a year
- Ellevest Plus costs $5 a month or
$60$54 a year (save $6) - Ellevest Executive costs $9 a month or
$108$97 a year (save $11)
What’s included?
The cost of your membership covers investing, banking, and learning, and it unlocks up to 50% off all money and career coaching sessions.
Some investing companies charge an advisory fee (called “basis points” or “bps”) that’s calculated as a percentage of the total amount you have invested with them. We don’t charge a separate fee like this at Ellevest — investment advice is included in your monthly membership fee.
There are also no hidden fees associated with your Ellevest Save and Spend accounts or debit card — no overdraft fees, no account fees, and if you have direct deposit set up, ATM fees get reimbursed.1
What’s not included?
Money and career coaching services are available for purchase in the Ellevest Store, with members getting up to 50% off every session.
Also, the companies who own the individual funds in your investment portfolio likely charge a small fee — these are normal, and they’re called “fund fees” or “expense ratios.” At Ellevest, fund fees are built into the purchase price of your investments and won’t appear as a separate fee transaction on your statement.2
Finally, there may be other small costs associated with your Ellevest account. You can read more about them here.

Ellevest Private Wealth Management
The fee for Ellevest Private Wealth Management, which is designed for those with $1M or more to invest, is based on your total assets under management. All of our Private Wealth services — including financial planning, investment management, and executive coaching — are covered by the advisory fee. You can see our standard fee schedule here.
1Banking products and services are provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC. Domestic ATM Transaction fees will be reimbursed if a payroll direct deposit has been received within the prior 30 days of the ATM transaction settlement. An international ATM withdrawal fee of $5 will apply.
2For Ellevest core (non-Impact) portfolios, the ETF fund fees can range from 0.05% to 0.10% per year, and for Ellevest Impact Portfolios, these ETF and mutual fund fees can range from 0.13% to 0.19% per year. This range includes blended expense ratios for members’ overall portfolios, not individual fund expense ratios.
