What are Ellevest digital gift cards?

Ellevest gift cards are a great way to help a friend, daughter, mentee, or anyone else you know make moves with their money. They can be used toward anything found in the Ellevest Store, including live events with our financial planners and 1:1 financial planning.

Who can purchase an Ellevest gift card?

Anyone! You don’t have to be an Ellevest client to buy or use a gift card. 

What can Ellevest’s digital gift cards be used for?

Ellevest gift card recipients can use it toward anything found in the Ellevest store, including live events with our financial planners and 1:1 financial planning. Right now, Ellevest gift cards can’t be used to pay for an Ellevest account or to fund Ellevest investing accounts.

What happens if I miss my financial planning session that I used my Ellevest gift card for?

All current financial planning session refund and cancellation rules apply to purchases made with gift cards — you can receive a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance of the session. If you cancel within 24 hours of your session, you'll receive a 50% refund. If you paid for your session with a gift card, the refunded amount will be credited back to your gift card. Ellevest gift card terms and conditions apply.

Does the financial planning discount apply to Ellevest gift cards?

The Ellevest Client financial planning discount can’t be used toward the purchase price of Ellevest gift cards — discounts can only be applied to the purchase of the financial planning session itself. If the person you bought the gift card for isn’t an Ellevest client yet, let them know they can get up to 50% off financial planning sessions by joining so they can make the most of their gift!
