The deadline to make a withdrawal due to the CARES Act has now passed. The last day to make a CARES Act withdrawal was December 30, 2020. The early withdrawal penalty exception for coronavirus-related distributions is no longer applicable unless Congress enacts new legislation otherwise during 2021.
